Noel Kerns

This is nothing new...the Prada Marfa permanently installed sculpture, by artists Elmegreen and Dragset, inaugurated in 2005 in the middle of route 90, Texas. They called it a "pop architectural land art project", or to put it better: a well done mix of art object and publicity campaign.
I always found interesting the clashing way the desert and the minimal but very luxurious brand come together they naturaly belong in this opposition. A work of art that makes me smile.

  1. do you know if you can actually shop there?! I'm dying to know! I think this shop is awesome!! xx

  2. it is always closed, it displays shoes and bags from the fall/winter 2005 collection...the building is meant to never be repaired and let it degrade with nature
